Mountain rescue base
IZVOARE - Poiana Soarelui
The refuge is located in Izvoare - Poiana Soarelui resort, offering working conditions to mountain rescuers on preventive patrol, serving the Ignis area, with its mountain tourist trails and ski slopes.
The refuge is structured in two parts
- the old part -originating from the years 77-78 the Mountain Rescue Point offered by the County Hospital
- extension of the refuge, construction started in 2004
The building offers the possibility to sleep in 3 common bedrooms for 12-15 mountain rescuers, has a kitchen and a spacious living room.
Activities in the area depending on the season are: mountain hiking, climbing/mountaineering, paragliding, training/sports training, both in summer and cold season, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing.

MOGOȘA
The Mogosa Mountain Rescue Hut is located in Baia Sprie, 126 George Coșbuc Street, near Mogosa Lake (Bodi).
The Mogosa Hut is equipped with special technical rescue equipment, climbing equipment (ropes, dynamic and static ropes, blockers, ropes, pulleys), uniforms and working equipment of mountain rescuers (skis, ski boots, winter and summer clothing), communication system, a first aid point equipped with medical supplies and rescue medical equipment (defibrillators, cervical collars, splints) to accommodate the injured until the arrival of the ambulances, specific professional equipment, 1 UTV, winch and UT tow for rescue, medical trailers, etc.

VIȘEU DE SUS
The Viseu de Sus Mountain Rescue Base is located on Libertatii Street, number 19 and equipped with basic rescue equipment, a van, 1 UTV being served by 2 mountain rescuers and volunteers and is the starting point for rescue actions.
